All those saying Ulloa did nothing yesterday are overlooking the fact he played the perfect through ball to send in Izquierdo for what should have been the winner.
I'd start Leo at Palace personally. Luckily CH knows better than me so I'm happy it's him that gets to decide.
It was a red card - he slid in with his studs up.
No, it wasn't malicious, just over-enthusiastic. But that's irrelevant - as is the fact Ashley Young should have been sent off too.
Really? Can you provide evidence of any other time he has moaned about being dropped? I'd say exactly the opposite - I've never seen him moan at being on the bench.
Just a few Huddersfield tickets left on the website - mostly in the SE corner (from Hudds returns I guess). Buy now if you're able to - they go on general sale tomorrow morning I think?
:lol:I don't know if that was autocorrect or a bit of genius on your part but 'corporate hostility' perfectly sums up Pompey doesn't it? Hideous town.
My least favourite ground was Grimsby. Partly because we got relegated there the one time I went but also because it literally feels like...
There's a simple way to stop this - don't sell lower-tier seats to kids. Make the little blighters go in the upper tiers.
There'd be a benefit for the pensioners too, they could go in the lower tiers and not have to stop for a rest on every landing as they're walking up to WSU. Win-win.
He can indeed. http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/268356/shaqiri
That said, when he's trying he's a tremendous player. At their place, we'd have easily won if they'd been without him - they had nothing else to offer at all going forward.
I think Stoke and Palace are both one-man teams.
Excellent point that. My only reservation about Izquierdo up to now has been that he always wanted to cut in on his right foot which, for all his talent, made him a bit predictable. Today - they didn't know which way he was going and so he's twice as dangerous.
I don't agree with that = thought he did OK against Stoke. Today he was excellent, as he was against WHU the other week. He seems to be playing the best I've ever seen him play for Brighton. And that with all the Rodriguez nonsense to contend with.
It's still on a knife-edge for me. We could go down, we could stay up. But I've got no doubt that every player is giving their all and CH knows how to get the best out of what he's got. And I don't think there's a single game where you could say we've been lucky to get a result - it's all been...
