This makes an interesting listen - Paul Barber giving an insight into a) the Caicedo deal twists and turns and b) how the club makes decisions about its young players

There's me thinking it was the long awaited follow up to Crinkley Bottom and all that, but with Brian Cox as a guest presenter ...
Still, he might be a welcome addition to Roberto's fusion football, with defence-splitting passes, and a new clear fission for the future :ROFLMAO:
We are in a very interesting place going into this season.
We know it's going to be a real stretch remaining competitive in four competitions without a City-style squad packed with multimillion pound internationals, and I agree with some of the posters on this thread that a Top 10 finish plus...
Some absolute stunners in there - almost impossible to separate lots of them. A real treasure chest and absolute pick me up at any time of day.
I'd go
1 Enciso v City
2 Mitoma v Liverpool
3 Solly v Saints, just to spread it around a bit
Interesting that there's isn't even one header in there ...
Decent analysis - the guy talks a lot of sense and seems to understand our squad's strengths and potential weaknesses. Very upbeat prediction too! :bloom:

Simon Adingra unleashed.

Love Piper at the Gates of Dawn and all the early Columbia singles, so the only other albums of theirs I play regularly are Relics and Dark Side of the Moon.
Think I've also got copies of Meddle, The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Saucerful of Secrets, Ummagumma and Atom Heart Mother.

The challenge the proponents face in the UK is two-fold: selling the concept to the public (cost is definitely a factor here), and persuading the water companies that what will end up going in the water course is...
Respect to the guy - yes, his voice isn't what it was and some of the high notes were swerved, but what a back catalogue. And has been said, it's quite something to see he's still got the core of his main band after more than 50 years – drummer Nigel Olsson, guitarist Davey Johnstone and...
That was without doubt the most enjoyable T20 thriller I've yet seen.
Some excellent cricket from both sides, with the momentum swinging constantly through the match - monumental sixes, some fearsome fast bowling, those EXTRAORDINARY bits of fielding, and a cliffhanger of a finish.
Well played...
Merry Bugle (could see plenty of them consumed down our way)
RDZbanger (might need a high ABV)
Swoop ("pint of Swoop please guv'nor" has a sort of ring to it)
Flairmeister
The Best Team in the World (at playing out from the back) Ale (hard to fit on a can, or a T-shirt)
Pride of the South Coast
Very disappointed for him (and for us, not being able to watch him) but has to be the best thing getting rest and rehab so he's fit for pre-season. If he plays to the level he did last season once we start back, you'd have to fancy his chances of getting called up again.
Pervis has been one of many jewels in this incredible season. Now firmly on everybody's radar, but hopefully he'll stick around for another season at least, particularly as we're doing our best to provide lots of South American team mates :clap2:
Maybe our recruitment and player development will beef us up for a European tour next season - maybe it won't. But having achieved Top 10 last season, Europe is the next staging post in Uncle Tony's masterplan, so at the very least we have to have a crack at it. The next chapter of Albion's...
