Watch a couple of these videos, in the 'Live' section. https://www.youtube.com/@InvestAnswers/streams James explains the reasons better than anyone on here can.

    [Albion] Liverpool Away Tickets

I lived in Liverpool for a few years, very small part of that time in Anfield Road, actually. In the days of turnstiles and rolling up with cash to get into the Kop. Still have MIL there who we have to visit occasionally and have looked at at ticket availability over the years. It's currently...

    [Music] Why Deep Purple ROCK

As this is an important music thread I'll add my recollections. Deep Purple was the first band I ever saw live - at the Big Apple, by the Clock Tower in 1971. Incredible and have distinct memories of the night. Better than the things I try to remember now. Fireball was one of my first...

[Albion] Say something nice about Palace

They've allowed the less creative members of the press to coin and use the phrase "M23 Derby". Ad nauseam. What would they have to say if not?

[Albion] If you could go back in time and attend ANY BHAFC fixture, which one would you choose?

Darlington 1965 at the Goldstone, along with 31,000 other actual people - not paid-for empty seats. As a small, football mad boy, clinching promotion to Division 3 was magical.

    [News] Post Office Scandal -

Way back in the past there was a statistic that a software programmer would average 8 lines of code per day if the project was properly designed, documented and annotated. Although that was in the days of Fortran and PLM86. And they wouldn't start actually coding until well into the project...

[Football] Do you still watch MOTD?

The theme music sends me to sleep, think it's deeply programmed into my brain from watching it late at night pre-teen. Neural programming or whatever. If I mute it, then Shearer does the job just as well. Can't stand the non-playing bits of the highlights: extended shots of managers and their...

Tom Hamblett, Masterchef winner is running a special residency at South Lodge January to March. Fully booked but there is a waiting list and they phone out if they get cancellations - so if interested it's possible. Same thing at Lainston House in Winchester following Sough Lodge. I made a...

    [Politics] Elderly people in supermarkets

Then they go for petrol and don't use pay at pump so go into the kiosk to use the card they could have used at the pump. And browse everything on the shelves before ambling back to their car and slowly putting their seatbelts on, followed by a BA-level full system check before slowly driving...

[Albion] Membership and sharing tickets (sorry)

I did exactly what you want to do this season.successfully and legitimately. Took a while to work out what to do: Changed my 65+ ticket to an under 18 one at a cost of £8. It would not allow me to change it to a younger ticket. Transferred the ticket for free to a friend on FAndF. He...

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

That's just over £10 per UK taxpayer. Money well spent. Although it could be considered as a little addition to the foreign aid budget. Maybe they'll spend some of it on a tourism promotion campaign. Visit Rwanda or something. Gunning for it.

[Albion] That's the worst ref so farn this season

Surely he should not have signalled for a penalty, but given us a corner. Then held up the taking of the corner pending a VAR penalty check which he could request if necessary. Penalty checks are automatic anyway aren't they?
