Worth checking out AirBnb.co.uk as well. It's usually for shorter lets (a few days), but often see reduced prices if you take a place for a longer period (a few months)

Avoid Phuket & Pattaya Pattaya! Agree Chaing Mai is a must, and worth getting a direct bus to Siem Reap for a few days to explore the temples if you have the time.

Gabriel Batistuta was a classic "Brighton Premership" buy on CM2, I think the later versions got a bit complex with agents etc. Would be nice if someone could bring the orginal format back with updated players etc.
