[Misc] Lane keep assist on cars

I encountered this on a hire car in Spain. Unless you indicated both ways on the motorway it would object whenever I tried to pull back in after overtaking. That was a bit annoying, but other than that I thought it was an ok feature and hardly noticeable 99% of the time.

    [Albion] Get The f*** In!

It was beautiful. Considering the anxiety I had beforehand, it was so beautiful.

Not great, that half. I was wondering when the first league goal this year might arrive... but now maybe we should aim for getting a shot on target.

    [Albion] FA Cup Fourth Round

The Maidstone win was entirely unmerited on the balance of play - Ipswich had 38 shots to their 2. But that's why I like the game. If it always went to the stronger team it would be dull.

[Albion] When will we get relegated?

Six teams have been ever present in the PL - and of them Everton look dubious to last… apart from Spurs the other five have won it, too. And even winning doesn’t guarantee staying power, as Leicester and Blackburn have found. So we’re likely to be in trouble at some point in the next ten...

[Albion] What time did you leave?

In the bridge car park for the first time in years. Left on 85 minutes, ran there, drove straight out, listening to the last minute on Radio Sussex. It’s always a gamble if you leave early, but felt that was a success.

[Albion] Ivan Toney: clever or cheating?

I'd rather we didn't have a game where we get worked up over exactly where every free kick was taken, down to the nearest centimetre. Toney was obviously trying to gain advantage and we all know he tries to game the system, but the defence should have been paying attention. It is cheating, but...

Lots of us are not thinking of going to Euro matches at all; I never even looked at the ticketing arrangements for them.

    [Help] Planning, Topography, Eastbourne

There previously has been plenty more green space around there, and back along the road where Westlords used to be. I would not believe anyone who told you that. Check on the council planning website.

BL3 and BL4 now open. 107 tickets left. I got my tickets this morning (can’t go to the FA Cup match, so this was the only option).

    [Albion] Season ticket prices 24/25

I will trying to get two season tickets this year (never had any before). Looking at the dates, it seems they will be sorted out straight after the seat moves, maybe on Wednesday the 20th of March? Anyone know - should I get offered any ST - how the seat allocation is worked out? What options...

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2023/24 Edition

Thanks for that detailed reply - that does explain why there were quite so many kids/parents who didn't seem that interested in the match. I think if we'd scored it might have been a bit more lively. I also enjoyed seeing how many times the ball left the ground completely and the "ball retrieval...

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2023/24 Edition

As there was no Albion playing I went along to the local match yesterday at Crowborough. First time I've walked straight from my house to football since I lived in Hove in '97. I've not been to a non-league match for a long time. It was a bit disconcerting at first to see quite a few...
