Quite so, but do you think they have factored in the "uniqueness" of our fan base?
Judging by Paul Barbers comments at the NWSS meeting in the week, it appears not. Although it could be argued "he would say that wouldn't he?" :-)
I think if they are using data from other relegated clubs (such as Wolves as quoted earlier in this thread) then the club are very naive.
For example, Wolves have a large traditional and loyal fan base, whereas our crowd includes a large percentage of fans who are would not have counted BHA as...
I clicked undecided. My 10 year old son has said he wants to (regardless of what league we are in) and I feel the same but:-
a) I am a youth football coach and we play Sat mornings. Next season (u11) match length increases to 30 mins e/w and the later finish, means it could be tricky to get to...
Jayasuria - That Sri Lankan team chnaged the ODI landscape with innovative strokes and attacking from the start and Jayasuria was crucial to that.
Gayle - Quite simply hits a cricket ball harder and cleaner than anyone I have ever seen.
Richards - Can't leave him out, consistently bludgeoned...
The Bournemouth thread made me think of grounds that I have been to a few times with the Albion, from memory the top 3 are:-
Brisbane Road 5 times
Dean Court 3 times
Selhurst 3 times
Griffin Park 3 times
What are yours?
Didn't go to the cup game but the 3-0 win (McDougald 2 Minton if I remember) was rain of biblical proportions. Cannot remember a wetter game. Chose to go in the seats that day
The 3-1 defeat was the live on TV pitch invasion game.
Seriously if you are suggesting tinned tomatoes you are a wrong 'un
They only thing on a breakfast plate that is acceptable to come out of a tin is Heinz baked beans
This thread is unbelievable.
JFC is far from the finished article but he is certainly not woeful ! In the last few games when he has been playing in his favoured more advanced role, he has been far more effective, won some tackles and put some good cross field passes. Did everyone have their...
There was one occasion near the SW corner where he threw himself theatrically to the floor about a second after the challenge and then got straight back up again.
Was a bit odd
Have you ever been?
I went during the world cup in 2006 and I enjoyed it. There are some nice squares with bars/cafes and the stadium is in a leafy park.
And the Germans we met there were without exception helpful and friendly
I have an absolute mate with this. Tasked with buying 4 tickets all on my friends and family I logged on Friday to find only two of them available (not including mine or my sons!) I purchased the two I could for my mate and his son & tried again
Tried the refresh thing and my ticket then...
I have a different problem. (using Chrome btw) The Arsenal game shows "sign in" next to it (even though i am already signed in)
When I click on this it does nothing (broken link?)
This team is close to perfect. (Although there are a few I never saw play)
However there are many players who deserve a midfield place ahead of Ince. Curbishley for one, Robinson is another just off the top of my head, and surely we can come up with a better right back than Bruno? How about...
Paul Barber is actually doing a good job based upon what he is paid to do.
If he went he would be replaced by a like minded "suit" ( don't like the phrase but seems appropriate here) and someone who is most likely less eloquent or approachable
Be careful what you wish for
Burke on the...
