Yeah lost the best midfield duo in the league , lost Wmepu and these players were not replaced
club made £125 million , will be the same this season , so would not be unreasonable to get in a couple of midfield players
Why do people keep on thinking good ex players should become a future manager,
it rarely works when an ex player becomes a manager for a former club,
different skills are required to a player
If we get in to Europe again which I doubt, we would have the same problem, you need a deeper squad to cope , and the club don’t want to get in the players to do that
Simple really get some decent midfield players in , our midfield is awful , does not screen the defence, does not create goals , do not score goals , don’t control matches ,
not replacing players we have sold or lost is the reason why the season has ended disappointedly
The only thing would say about Bloom , does not seem to be able to keep hold of staff that hold important positions,
it seems to me as soon as a good opportunity comes along they can’t wait to jump ship ,
And what has Potter done since he has left us , nothing
and if you don’t think that achieving our highest ever position makes him our greatest manager, and taking us into Europe, that no other manager has achieved, and finishing top of the group of death , apart from Mullery no other manager...
Highest ever finish , took us in to Europe for the first time , had an amazing group and finished top
last season was the best football I had ever seen a Brighton team play , and that is 60 years ,
if he had received the same support as Klopp we would of qualified for Europe again
i would say...
my mojo is so low , can’t see how they can find a manager who can take over the mantle of RDZ , and play the exciting football we have had the pleasure of watching for a season and a half ,
We needed 2 strong midfielders and a right back , failed to sign anyone in these positions
Baleba had not played 25 first team matches before he signed for us
We could of got JWP for 30 million from Southampton and Ross Barkley for a free , rather than replacing them with a kid who has not played 25 first team games , a lightweight free Transfer and a retiree from Liverpool, GIlmour could not get in the first team last year until the last half dozen games
Bottom line is we were short of 2 central midfielders, a right back , before the season started ,,
and with a European campaign we were always going to be pushed to our limits , but no one could of guessed our injury crisis,
with no reinforcements coming in January, the second Part of the...
