This one just never fails to bring a smile to my face, gets my feet tapping, and takes me back to what now seem like real 'good old days'
Inspired / triggered by this article - well worth a read if you are a fan -...
Oh great - another opportunity for the 'burn the witch, I'm totally anti-Potter and all those who dare to suggest he was ever a force for good at this club' to post their views.
OP, I see this as a humourous attempt by you to praise our beloved owner - but I am now so bored with this anti-Potter...
For me, a decent summary of the problems, with some valid pointers towards fixes - https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2023/jan/11/patient-a-and-e-tories-nhs-hospital-government-funding (I accept that some will dismiss this, simply because it is from the Guardian)
I guess he will claim it was the greasy forehead of God.
He seems absolutely determined to claim it, despite the fact that the ball did not change speed or direction - even the rotation of the ball did not change, FFS
I had not heard that version before - thanks for posting.
I have to say I prefer the original Bowie version.
"Originally the song was written for Dana Gillespie, who recorded it in 1971, but her version of the song was not released until 1973 on her album Weren't Born a Man. Bowie produced...
In today's Guardian - "Chelsea have appointed Paul Winstanley as their “director of global talent and transfers”, which means that they’ve now procured Brighton’s manager, assistant manager, current player of the season, first-team coach, goalkeeping coach, head of recruitment, etc and so on."...
Sad to report that my run of 300 successful guesses came to an end today on 301st attempt.
Overall average 3.83. Will probably keep going, I still enjoy the challenge.

Do you know why? Is the road blocked / an accident? Is the alternative route travelling up Falmer Road, then onto the Race Hill car park, still available?
A small section of the advice from Which magazine regarding washer / dryers -
"Washer-dryers hit with your energy bills with a one-two punch of washing and drying.
The average washer-dryer will cost you £117 in running costs for washing and £281 for drying, with the October price cap increase -...
People seem to be confusing two entirely different metrics here. Disposable income and total individual wealth are entirely different things - especially if the wealth thing is almost 100% contained within an (essentially) non-dispoable asset such as the property that they live in.
Yes, I know...
Hard to tell from the picture, but are they not pressable buttons top left (beneath the ECA2.v text)?
If so, what happens when you press them - does the display toggle between various modes? If so, you want the little arrow to the lleft of the LCD display to point at export, not import. I guess...
I presume that you have tried removing the NSC cookies from Opera?
I had exactly the same issue, but only with Chrome. Removed the NSC cookies, was back in (although had to reset my password, as I had forgotten it).
Phew - I was starting to sweat a little there after the first few goes - but finally got there.
I think that I will keep playing, but stop posting my stats on here now. Thanks for all the support / friendly rivalry / banter on this thread - it has been fun :)
Oh, and very well done to those who...
Seems like quite a wide variation today - clearly highly dependent on the first (and second) words used
