[Cricket] Sussex CCC - 2024 edition

Having sat 2nd all season we are trying hard to finish 3rd or 4th to get an away fixture.

[Albion] Albion kit 2024/25 - official thread

Undecided other than to say first impression was 'odd'.

[Football] Thank you Southgate, and goodbye

This tournament has been about moments for England rather than cohesive performances. We got more than we deserved by making the final. Southgate seems a nice bloke and creates a great culture. However he is incredibly limited tactically and we'll never win something with him in charge - unless...

    [Sussex] Moving to Worthing

Made the move from Hove nearly 2 years back. Don't regret it at all. I see it as adding to that I already had rather than a replacement. Traffic is annoying, as it was in Hove. Trains from W Worthing and the main station pretty regular. Nice pubs and cafes etc; quieter but nice seafront.

    [Politics] Trump under fire.

Sadly will galvanise his base. It will be all about the elite trying to silence him blah blah blah. I don't wish death on people, however if we look at the greater good for humanity I'd likely not be wastimg tears on the autocrat prick.

Great result. Only a couple more wins and quarter finals in the bag.

[Cricket] *** England v West Indies, Lords, 1st Test. Farewell to Sir Jimmy Anderson ***

After his 7 for last week, have England shot themselves in the foot by calling time on him when he still feels in top form? All for blooding the youngsters ahead of the Ashes, but with Broad gone then perhaps having Jimmy on the pitch guiding them and doing his thing all summer may have been...

    [News] Nigel Farage and Reform

Tice has denied some of their candidates were not real. Always comes across as such an honest chap; I'm sure that will clear it up then!

[Football] Euros 2024 - Quarter Finals (England vs Switzerland, Netherlands vs Turkey)

Jammy feckers. How the hell are we still stinking out this tournament?

[Football] Euros 2024 - Quarter Finals (England vs Switzerland, Netherlands vs Turkey)

More important than this turgid dross; someone in the pub is wearing crocs. I'm passive by nature but have an irrational (I think rational) hatred of the lazy feckers partial foot covering of choice. I find it part if the it is acceptable to wear pyjamas whilst shopping etc way of life...

[Politics] The NSC 'up all night' election night *** OFFICIAL MATCH THREAD ***

More worried. I get the frustration people have (although a lot of them voted for Tories in 2019 , so serves them right!) Over the chaos of past few years. However, people will say it is a protest yet they are voting for a racist and populist private company. I find that worrying.

[Politics] The NSC 'up all night' election night *** OFFICIAL MATCH THREAD ***

Great news. Get rid of the corrupt swines. 13 for the smiling face of BNP is a worry.

[Football] Who should replace Guehi in England's defence?

Sometimes players just pass you by. Other than vs us and the odd TV game, I don't watch Villa much. Same with a lot of other Prem teams.

[Football] Who should replace Guehi in England's defence?

I'd genuinely never heard of Konsa until they mentioned him on TV the other day. As such, no idea whether he is any good, other than short sub appearance in the match. Give Dunk a go.

Incredible and entirely undeserved turn around. Name on the trophy?!

Just caught up on Iplayer. Amazing back catalogue. Inspired me to look at tours and saw he is coming to Brighton in December. Just bought a couple of tickets.

    [Politics] General Election 2024 - 4th July

Multiple labour leaflets and a couple of letters plus a vist from an activist. 1 Lib Dem leaflet. 1 Tory one today, which goes straight in to the recycling.
