Did we send him out on loan? I lose track?
Yup. You even shared your wisdom on the deal.

One could use the argument that this is a grade 1 failure of the recruitment team. To chase a young international player who has played and received rave reviews in the COPA to give us some exciting creative ( remember them) options in midfield …we then get him over here and after a couple of games and a few months of training….he is them sent out on loan to another country to a dreadful league compared to here and not only that, think he is only good enough to play for a shit team who are bottom of their second division.

I am all for giving players a chance, but if he is only good enough to play the equivalent of our 3rd division at a push, why chase him so hard to get him here? Did we not have him watched at his games or is this another brilliant bit of business by his agent!

Also why didn’t we send him to Spain, where at least they speak his language!!!!!!

remember when we used to abuse chelsea fans for doing exactly the same….buying up players and then sending them out on loan never to be seen again…..of the ones we have done this to, Mitoma and Adringa seem to be the ones that have worked.

can one of the usual crowd tell me who else has done well that is still here (ex Ben white who only was here a year so I never really saw him as a Brighton player)
Yep. Another one down the plug-hole of history!

Well, we know you don't like loans. You called Caicedo a "pointless signing" when we loaned him to Belgium and said "he would never develop in the Belgian league".

I'm not trying to force you to like loan deals because clearly you don't, but after Mac Allister, Caicedo, Mitoma, Ben White, Rob Sanchez, Adingra etc. surely you should rethink the idea that loaning out players puts them "down the plug-hole of history".

Nice to see him looking good in the Champions League:

Sima is doing even better though!

It’s just a shame we don’t seem to have brilliant young defenders on loan smashing up the Premier League. But we’re clearly well stocked for wingers and attackers and midfielders for quite some time.

Osman looks strong on the ball, can dribble but also has his head up and knows where his teammates are.

I even liked the look of Osman in pre-season, not that he did an awful lot, but he's really strong, physical and rapid. That's a great little cameo, although the first two free kicks he wins were somewhat lucky: the defenders got the ball on both occasions, and I definitely don't think the second should have been awarded -- the defender barely touched him and he went down too easily

Looks like we have another situation brewing like the German guy (brain fart forgot him already lol!). No doubt Sima has a good season, he won't want to come back again so another potential talent lost
