Little De Zerbi facts:

The points per game post Potter in the 2022-23 season would have had us finish 9th, the same as the previous season if reflected across the whole season.

In Potter's last 15 matches, Albion scored 1.8 goals per game, De Zerbi 1.96 during 2022/23, but more were conceded.

In the second half of the 2024 season Albion's record was only worsened by the relegated sides.

De Zerbi is famed for taking us into Europe but would never have done so had it not been for the foundation and the start to that season. He was great fun while it lasted, but come the end of that season he got too big for his boots. Tony has bigger boots and they fit.

Will be a couple of ’surprise’ (to some) wins there that will wake the radar up again (plus at least one crap performance where Fab’s age will get mentioned 30 times, probably home to Wolves who will still be without a win until then).

I’m concerned about Saturday and our very high line but on the flip side they are getatable too spurs and wolves both winnable as is Liverpool

I've been warning about this since the first game of the season against Everton.

I predict we'll do well, including at least one surprising win.

This, in my opinion, is the strongest Albion side of all time and with the most squad depth.

Of course, if we don't do well in this run, NSC will be utterly insufferable.

Like I said in a video and probably wrote somewhere... some unexpected people may well be on their knees begging for Graham Potter by mid-November. Both him and De Zerbi will be dragged out from their hidings, as if none of them managed us under any poor runs...

In reality I think we could lose all these games and Fabian would still be very firmly in his job. Its the toughest run of games we'll have this season and I expect us to be bottom half once we're through it. But its important not to make too bedwetting much out of it. It is what it is.

Plenty of Bedwetting when, after only picking up a couple of points and we're looking at being in a relegation battle!
Although, we could still be unbeaten until City away and be sitting pretty just outside top 4!

Anyone who watched Chelsea at the weekend will know their pace will expose our back line time and again. Already got that one down as “good day out ruined by the football”.

Wolves are terrible this season and Spurs are being very Spursy. That’s where the points are coming from IMO.
