I would condemn it but it's genuinely hard to condemn something that hasn't happened. How do you know they've targetted these btw?Indeed. Although it’s unlikely they’d have been targeted unless they were members of an Iran backed terror organisation. An organisation that was launching rockets at buses and shops in Israel. Will you condemn that?
I am ambivalent about the event. My colours are not pinned to a mast. Neither of us have any idea whether a pager would have been triggered if someone was up in a plane. It may be that someone in a plane would be out of signal range and so it couldnt have been detonated, or it may not. In any case, it's hypothetical.10/10 Sherlock. Take off and landing, most vulnerable time for an aircraft, DEFINITELY in range around those periods.I am ambivalent about the event. My colours are not pinned to a mast. it would appear so. the premise this disrupts anything is flawed, it's physical maiming that doesn't necessarily achieve anything. So if Ukraine managed to sabotage and detonate the mobile phones of 3000 of Putin's chain of command to disrupt his ability to wage war in Ukraine that would be unacceptable to you? Is that what you're saying?
but it didn't happen!Take off and landing, most vulnerable time for an aircraft, DEFINITELY in range around those periods.
I am ambivalent about all the scenarios but more favourable towards Ukraine on Russia and the ANC on the apartheid government because of the history of those conflicts.it would appear so. the premise this disrupts anything is flawed, it's physical maiming that doesn't necessarily achieve anything.
i reckon Ukraine on Russia is a go for you, what about the rest; is Russia on Ukraine acceptable?
I went to the match tonight to support the Albion……Not the case but welcome back.
I have said Israel's action was a targetted attack on enemy combatants, not an indiscriminate attack on the civilian population. That is not a justification and I did not say I approved of it. I am ambivalent about it. I also watched the match (on TV).I went to the match tonight to support the Albion……
you stayed on here trying to justify Israel.
I’m not left or right, I don’t support Hamas, Hisbollah, Russia, Ukraine or who the feckever.
I’m just against religion, intolerance and injustice.
The state of Israel was forced on these people of this region without consultation
We right royally fecked up, it was not ours to give, or the Jewish population to take, chosen land my arse it’s fiction.
religion is Bollox
Nor has the use of nuclear weapons in modern warfare. That does not stop me criticising the idea and encouraging action to be taken to deter their use. Let’s hope that innocent people do not get hurt or maybe your conscience might have to have a think.but it didn't happen!
Here’s one of many available reports about Hezbollah firing rockets into Israel “on an almost daily basis”.I would condemn it but it's genuinely hard to condemn something that hasn't happened. How do you know they've targetted these btw?
Also, does "Iran backed" make something worse than "it's Israel doing Israel things"?
So you’re saying that the cause was dodgy Chinese batteries as a serious theory?
Jesus Christ.
Hezbollah walkie-talkies exploded too, what to know about Israel’s attacks
A day after the explosion of thousands of pagers, the detonation of walkie-talkies and other devices kills 14 people.www.aljazeera.com
It seems that at least some Hezbollah members believe the explosions are linked to batteries.
Several of them quickly took the batteries out of their radios and tossed them away after one exploded during a funeral in a southern suburb of Beirut, according to the Reuters news agency.
He is not the only one though....Maybe you didn’t realise how absurd that sounded?
Oh he definitely realises. It's just trolling and not to be taken seriously by anyone. That’s not what you were saying though nor what @Guinness Boy was challenging you on.
You were suggesting several thousand handsets exploded all at the same time because the batteries were from China and negligently faulty and that heads would probably roll as a consequence.
Maybe you didn’t realise how absurd that sounded?
I see your post has been up for 4 hours, without reply from the Hezbollah apologists. That is to be expected. One-eyed thinking, which is at best, double standards, but at worst, might be concealing something much more insidious. Here’s one of many available reports about Hezbollah firing rockets into Israel “on an almost daily basis”.
Hezbollah fires rockets into Israel as threat of Iran attack looms | CNN
Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets toward northern Israel on Sunday night, as Israeli forces remain on high alert for potential retaliation from Iran and its proxies following the assassination of a top Hamas leader last month.amp.cnn.com
Iran have been doing dangerous Iran things since the ousting of The Shah. As well as funding and commanding the terrorist organisation Hezbollah, they are also said to be allies of the Houthis, another little group fond of rocket fire. They’re also allies of Russia and are said to be supplying them with arms to attack Ukraine with in return with help enriching uranium.
They are every bit as dangerous and ideological as Israel. They just worship their sky fairy differently.
Reversing the polarity of the batteries by applying a signal remotely though might cause a small battery explosion and of course electrolytic capacitors when a voltage is reversed will definitely explode , have accidentally done that myself and had a bit of a fright when re applying the power source after careless repair workOh he definitely realises. It's just trolling and not to be taken seriously by anyone.
