I'd add Baleba. Admittedly based on small sample size of his cameos lately.
It is fairly easy to accommodate Julio, if we want to. If we want to do it without changing shape, then it means dropping Welbeck to the bench, and pushing Joao Pedro into the 9.
Its more, as you suggest, that Julio has done nothing recently to justify doing so.
And if Ferguson regains his form, and Gruda materialises, he's going to have a significantly harder task to do so.

For what, two matches? He is nowhere near our best player, he has the potential to be up there, but he needs to get in the team first and at the moment there others justifiably in front of him.
It is quite something that we have players like Rutter and Enciso waiting for their chance. With Evan starting to look fit again it is quite frightening.
As others have said the only way Enciso plays at the moment is if welbz is dropped and Pedro pushed forward.
It won’t be long and injuries will hit and the side will pick itself.

I thought Julio was good on saturday, he really kept the ball moving. I believe his decision making is improving. Enciso is an exceptional talent and I'd like to think the additional competition will sharpen his mind. The fact is we are now stacked in these attacking positions, this is a tough side to get in, and that is a good thing.
Again Julio is a player that fell foul of a cruelly timed injury, you not only have to fight back against the injury itself but also the players who have been brought into full the position.

With the exception of the Everton game, as he was recovering from the Olympics, he's featured in every single game.
He played 19 minutes v United, 72 (from the start) v Crawley, 12 at Arsenal, and 27 v Ipswich.
For a player currently 'out' of the starting 11, those are good opportunities. Its up to him to be productive when he gets those chances, to stake his claim for starts.
I personally think he is a fantastic talent, and I really want him to earn a starting place - because that will mean he must be playing really well.

I believe Julio ceiling is as high as anyones at the club, he just needs a run of games, which for Him and others is a difficult thing to get at the moment, the same can be said of Rutter and Adingra, all 3 of these lads are incredible footballers who currently find themselves out of the starting 11.
Some deal with it better than others, Julio is bloody gagging to play you can see it.
I would have him in my 11... but thats just me, I would have him behind Pedro
His and the other 2 lads i mentioned chance will come one way or another like Baleba's has with Oriley and Billy moving on, he's taken that spot and its hard to see him being dropped now.
Fight for those places should make sure no one drops of even a fraction or you will be out of the side.

Yeah people keep telling me this after 800 minutes and 40+ shots without scoring a goal.
I think we have eleven players in every lineup able to fire off hard shots from distance, but they don't because it usually leads to f*** all, like in the case with Enciso.
There was some recent footage of Craig Noone scoring in Australian football, which made me smile. We have had better wingers, just not many who share his enthusiasm for kicking a ball. I also see this in Enciso who I think is one of the most talented footballers ever to play for this club.
All this talk about his attitude just feels like people looking for something which isn't there. If and when he does leave I expect to play more or higher level football will be at the top of his list, rather than some slight of character, but we will see.
If you want an example of his attitude, he placed a ball for a corner on Saturday, even though he was still on the bench. Nothing would have made him happier I suspect than to be subbed on to take the corner.

The problem that Enciso faces is that the spot behind the main striker, he's competing with João Pedro and Rutter, who are more consistent or cost a lot of money.
Left wing he's got Mitoma and Adingra, who also have shown more.
He's got the talent but if he wants to break through he has to show the application and teamwork.
He can do it, is he mature enough to get his head down and do that? Or will he start agitating to the Paraguayan media? Time will tell I suppose.

What’s he said that is that wrong? We want players with ambition, to get that move to a big club he’ll need to produce the goods for us first. It’s not like he’s threatening to down tools, if anything he acknowledges the work he needs to do here to get into our starting 11 regularly.
Indeed, also great to hear his awareness that he needs to improve to be a starter.

I think he has the talent to play for any club in the world, the question is about his mindset and his desire to achieve it. That sort of quote suggests he does and if he develops how we want him to, then he will be next sold for a huge fee and sent on his merry way with our best wishes to be fondly remembered.
I would say the quote screams the opposite to me. He shouldn't be talking about this kind of stuff before hes put in at least a season of good performances. Someone needs to advise him better, hes been out nearly a season , we've supported him massively and he's off giving interviews about wanting to better himself.

He says he's working hard ,and he fully acknowledges that he needs to improve to be a starter here. What is wrong with him showing a bit of ambition in his own career too. Not sure where the cheek is, other than things you are reading far too much into and actually missing what he is saying.
