Tiny bit harsh but I do wonder how he’s remained captain for both Everton and Ireland for so many years when his career probably peaked about 10 years ago and it feels like he’s been on the decline ever since.
Hard to say just yet.
An awful Ireland team have made Guehi, Colwill and Maguire look bloody awful defensively. Should’ve been 1-0 up with a free header early doors.
Grealish too. From memory, he excels with a good booing from a hostile crowd.
