My vinyl collection is stuffed under my bed….not quite 10k
There will be a few record enthusiasts on this board who will be cringing seeing this comment on how not to store vinyl records.
There's language evolving and then there's mass 'getting it wrong', the latter of which is infuriating.
In the sentence she seems to separate ‘vinyls’ from records, so is it not possible that she’s talking about many floorings or the roofs of many Mark II Ford Capris?I stopped reading after 'vinyls'.
I told my postman I was having some vinyl delivered & if I'm not in to make sure it's put somewhere shady. His 1st question was, How much vinyl? My reply was 3. His next question was, How big are they? My reply, The large ones. I was somewhat confused when he said he'd try to get hold of the van driver doing the round & tell him as he doesn't deliver things that big. He thought I meant 3 rolls of flooring.
Language evolves; sadly, some people don’t.
Never heard that before. A marvellous word, which I will be using forthwith.
