Out of interest is that dive of a pub The White Hart still going? I worked in creepy for 13 years and had the misfortune of having to visit it many times.

Yeah it's still there and yeah still a dive .
I used to use the white hart at lunchtimes til about 20 years ago , thought it was the best pub there by a long way ! ..... mind you , the rest of them ...

I was in a pub in Crawley once and someone asked if if could move my chair out the way because they wanted to take a run up at one of those punch bag machines they normally have at funfairs.

In the good old days it was almost compulsory to have beers in our lunch hours. It was universal.
