The ones I saw all have Crawley in their bios.

The key to some sort of justice happening for O'Riley and the club, may lie in the clip of Williams smiling and winking, after injuring O'Riley.

That clip is damning. I hope as many media outlets as possible, get hold of it.
Indeed. Also if Williams didn't even get booked can he get a retrospective red card? I know that yellows can't be upgraded as the ref is deemed to have 'seen' the incident and thought a yellow sufficient punishment. But if this was unpunished on the pitch can the FA/League get involved?

Leyton, E10.

I think footage last night will be enough to justify Brighton opening a legal case against the challenge. Lesley’s comments at the end are an admission of guilt if you read between the lines.

Referee was appalling all game. f***ing clueless, but his ineptitude wouldn’t have stopped the challenge so early. He should have seen red, though.

Both player and ref need suspending and maybe Brighton might be able to empty Crawley pockets, too.

Sounds like a a nice job for her. Spending her days coaching kids wearing Chelsea shirts (not sure what all the noise is about Palace fans in their ranks: I've rarely seen anyone in Palace colours there, but plenty of Chelsea), none of whom have a clue about Crawley Town and have no idea who a single one of their players are.

Ah well. It's the morning after now, and Crawley can revert back to being the irrelevance that they've always been. Nice football, lads, shame about the strategic thuggery. They'll soon disappear back from whence they came once Lindsay gets poached by a bigger club like Port Vale or Rotherham United and the crypto bros realise they're not getting any return on their investment.

Let's take the win, keep our fingers crossed O'Riley isn't too badly crocked and let them enjoy the rest of their season and their 0-4 win.

We should stop playing our women's games there and giving them revenue for a start.

While I agree that the tackle by their captain was unacceptable and should probably have been a red, I think there’s a big over reaction to them on here. They were very physical, but it’s nothing we shouldn’t be able to handle.

For large parts of the first half they were by far the better team. Their passing and movement down the left seemed to have Lampty all over the place. And they created some great chances.

The scoreline doesn’t lie. We were never going to lose that game. Williams should have been carded, but I’m not going to go all anti-Crawley over one player’s antics, no matter how disappointing they were.

I sent it to the Uvalde, TX Leader News. The media source said "What? What the hell are you talking about?"

Come on now, we're not Nottingham Forest, for god's sake  Or Palace, starting petitions against referees.

Let's just hope for the best for O'Riley, and file Crawley back under "Irrelevant" like they have been for all but two days of our existence, because to do otherwise gives credit to their endeavours. This Saturday, we have to think about Arsenal at the Emirates, while Crawley have a home/away game against...I have absolutely no idea.

Breathe, everyone. Breathe.

She should get fired for that. ‘Community Coach‘ celebrating a player getting injured ? Disgraceful.

As I said in the other thread it's not a one-off. In the pre-season friendly at Lewes they made at least 4-5 similar challenges which seemed pretty odd for a friendly against a team 4 divisions down from them

It's not a great look, sure, but she's probably only a volunteer, sticking "community coach" on her bio to make it look like she's involved in professional football somehow.

I just think we're in danger of making an irrelevant club and an irrelevant player who literally nobody other than Crawley fans and his own Mum have heard of before last night, relevant, which is probably exactly what he wants. His football dreams have faded into playing for one of the smallest clubs in the Football League and once he leaves them, the only way is non-league, so he probably thought he'd play the big man and try to make a name for himself, as did the spineless little weasel who went through the back of Ayari (?) at the end and got sent off.

Let's not play their game. Move on.

If one of our academy coaches did that they’d be marched off the premises………

What are you talking about?

I think it’s perfectly reasonable for the club look at legal action after that tackle. 6 minutes in to a debut for a £25m player to be intentionally crocked. 100% worth investigating. The intent is hard to prove, but it’s not unrealistic at all. Neither is it tInPoT.

And the wink he gave Webstsr afterwards suggests it was indeed intentional.
