Now in my mid-30s, my conversations with fellow stoners usually revolve around how useless, lazy and unproductive we are.

Hopefully your son will come out of it well - most do. When the disadvantages of smoking become more obvious, its not fun anymore. Those who want to live a good life will stop smoking and those who want to live a non-bad life will often continue; it may not be fun, but its comfortable.

I would suggest you work out roughly what you're going to say in advance and then deliver it with some enthusiasm in a faster cadence.
People who smoke weed tend to be overly confident and believe that they have done something better than they actually have.

Weed smokers are vague not confident imo, if you want confident ( and f***ing annoying with it) Coke is your friend!

It would have been ruled out for offside anyway, as it clearly was, but a missed sitter all the same and as you say Steele did a good job with it to narrow angles.

Was it offside? I haven’t really watched it since.

Interesting how the media brushed that small detail under the carpet. Instead praising a wonderful counter attack.

Perhaps confidence is the wrong word to use. In the cases I referenced the weed gave them a relaxed sense of wellbeing so that they thought they were achieving things that they actually weren't.

Yes it was offside and quite clearly so. One of those annoying late flag situations when you know it’s going to be flagged.

It’s irrationally annoyed me that it’s not been pointed out it wouldn’t have counted anyway when shown on highlights and the game being spoken about! 😂

A cynic might say to give the false impression of a great move, airbrushing out that it was flawed.
