I don't think Pedro will go anywhere. But, if he does, it'll only be for an eye-watering amount. So it's almost a win-win (as long as the goals keep coming).

2 players per position = 22 players

Currently there's 37 players in the first team squad.

Its not exactly an argument for him staying... quite the opposite.

Anyway, I don't think Joao Pedro will move this summer, because he a) should be able to get a lot better (more valuable) and b) he didn't perform good enough last season to really be a top target.

That said, Manchester City are looking for a backup striker and its more likely to be somenone in the £50-60m-ish category than the £100m category. It cant be ruled out that they consider him as a target.

I'd like to see him loaned out to Celtic for the season. Bang in a shedload of goals, get a bit more European experience and a near-guaranteed Scottish Premiership winners medal at the end of it. Then come back fully fit and brimming with confidence

I'm sure the U21's don't count towards the 25 and seeing as most of our squad are still breast feeding, we should be ok
