Such a typical Leeds response.

Granted you've lost one of your better players but that is how the football food chain works. Don't think anyone would deny Leeds are a far bigger club than Brighton but sadly for them we are higher up said food chain at the moment.

Don't think any Brighton supporters groups put out a press release when Ali Mac had his release clause activated by Liverpool. That is just life I'm afraid.

Is it wrong to be a bit worried that he looks alarmingly like Locadia?

Is £40 million really worth it just to annoy Leeds*?

*yes
I'm on hols in the same pace where over 50 years ago, as a young lad, I excitedly listened on a crackly Radio 2 commentary, to the start of Leeds winning about 10 games on the trot at the start of a Div 1 season, easily the best side in the land.

We had recently signed Alex (oo oo) Dawson, an aging Busby babe and were as far away from Mighty Leeds as Lis Truss is from a return to power.

My, how things have changed.

(Takes out small onion).

1. Romano is no way, shape or form "my man".

2. I know he only deals in historic facts. Thats the whole reason I find him pointless.
They both have a role to play.

Romano: solid 80% reliable, early speculation, subject to a bit of self serving, sh!t stirring antagonisation.
Naylor: 95% bullet proof (club announcement almost a certainty)
Club: 100% Done deal.

You STILL on holiday?

Knowing absolutely nothing about short noticed arranged private air travel (so basically this could be complete bollocks).....I would imagine it's probably an awful lot easier to get a landing spot at Biggin Hill than it is Gatwick during the summer holidays.
Exactly that. And significantly cheaper in terms of landing fees etc as well I would think.

Here are Gatwick's fees per movement (so once for landing and again for taking off again), can't find Biggin Hill fees, but expect less than these:

Cheap at twice the price. :ROFLMAO:

I'm choosing to believe that we didn't activate the clause until the last minute just because Tony wanted to annoy all the Leeds fans who posted online bollo about Ben White. Can we please unban Killer Whale? The meltdown would be Shakespearean.*

(* proper Shakespeare though - He wouldn't stand for women being in it).

This would be like us selling Pedro, Mitoma and Dunk, three of our biggest players and not replace them. Its not the player having the release clause met, it's that they have sold their most important players ab bought nobody to replace them

Seems strange that if it was just a matter of matching release clause why this was done earlier
