A bit conflicted as I like Plymouth but it's funny seeing Rooney continue to fail. Absolutely insane appointment.

I like Wayne Rooney. He seems honest and humble. Unlike Lampard and Gerrard he doesn’t seem to expect to be handed top jobs just because he was a great player. I’d like him to succeed though that looks unlikely at this point.
He's just not cut out to be a manager. End of.
Plymouth have got themselves relegated, which is a shame as they're a nice club.

Really not sure why they went with Rooney seeing as he basically relegated Birmingham.
Agree with that and thought he did a phenomenal job with Derby.
He's taking awful jobs though which is a quick way to ruin a manager career.
I wish Gary Lineker had asked Rooney on the BBC when he was part of the Euro 2024 summarising team if he was looking at property in Devon.

"Burrrgle"? I see no reason or evidence that Rooney has or should have attempted to learn to speak West Country, like the Wurzels. Maybe there's some other point you're trying to make? Is there some trope or other that I'm missing?
They already do, and have done for years, given concessions to the over 65s.

I feel like I should dislike Rooney and wish him to fail but I find myself rooting for him. He's not exactly picked easy clubs to start his managerial career and felt he conducted himself very well at Derby in challenging circumstances.
