Any of our Tokyo Seagulls know if prominent tattoos are likely to cause any problems on the tour? Will Fab have to wear a long sleeve shirt at matches for example?

From what I can make out, neither of the sleeves have any Yakuza elements to him, so he should be fine
But isn't it just a more cultural thing not to show tattoos in general as tattoos tend to just be associated with the Yakuza.

I remember a few years ago the All Blacks covered their tattoos at the Rugby World Cup in Japan as a sign of respect for local culture.

Treated like royalty. Nice little round of applause as they arrive at the hotel and there's PBOBE who somehow beat them all to it. I wouldn't have minded if a few of them had gone over to say hello to the waiting crowd at the airport but I'm probably being harsh after a long flight.

I don't think you're being harsh at all. A few players, especially the ones whose names were on the replica shirts, could have spared a minute or two just to spread some good will, long flight or not. But instead they acted like typical footballers ...

Fair chance they did what they were told to.

Can add Leonard to the likely to be sold or loaned list.

Bemused by Pedro's omission but pleased to see Sima in the squad, suggests they haven't decided what to do with him yet.

Edit: Kozlowski another likely departure; Mazilu not on the list either but probably going out on loan.
I think Mazilu started for the U-21s against Bordeaux on Saturday (which, of course, doesn't preclude him from going out on loan).

So the omissions seem to be:

Injured:
Verbruggen
Estupinan
March
Ferguson

Post Euro / Copa America holiday:
Dunk
McGill
Groß / Undav (possibly leaving)

Olympics:
Enciso

Likely to be sold/loaned:
Moder
Dahoud
Peupion

No idea.... Pedro
Also...

No sign (that I've seen so far) this pre-season of either Benicio Baker-Boaitey or Ed Turns.

I tried to work out what hotel they were staying in so I could be an the ground reporter.

Turns out I have absolutely no idea what any of the hotels in Tokyo look like.

Yeah, a nod, a wave or a high five, how hard can it be? It was the same at the hotel, just strolled past those giving them an applaud. Strange…

Act like divas?
I was thinking more something of the manner of..

"Hi boys. When we're landing at the airport today there will be people at the airport, which is an environment where the we can't control the crowd and guarantee your safety, so please walk quickly to the exit rather than go and pet the fans."
