Given the average age demographic of its readership there is next to zero chance to them getting into any of the countries suggested unless they have very deep pockets for one of those golden visa type countries. Another snag they have overlooked. Anyone of or near pensionable age considering moving to the likes of Australia, NZ, Canada, their state pensions would be frozen at the rate it was paid when leaving the UK. Such incidentals as having your state pension frozen at circa £221 a week for eternity until you depart this world is a detail they fail to mention. Facts and the Daily Mail have always been incidental.

The way the European Parliament works does seem to be very undemocratic, though. You vote for an MEP whose only role is to rubber stamp laws proposed by unelected commissioners.
Economy wise it doesn't seem to have had much impact either way. Immigration wise it just means that there are more people coming from outside of Europe, fewer from the EU.
