I have thought for a while that he is "on the spectrum". There may be some Tourette's in there too.
He’s got the perfect temperament and personality for international football. He obviously handles (thrives on) the intense pressure and feels at home playing amongst some of the superstars of world football.
Compare Pickford to the likes of Scott Carson, Rob Green and Nick Pope who have all fallen apart when given a chance - they just couldn’t handle it despite being excellent keepers at the time.
They’re all just a bit too “nice” whereas Pickford has the required arrogance.

Yes inappropriate, as I have no doubt many on here have ADHD, myself included.
So we are a bit lively at times, but we can outperform the neurotypical in many things in life. The creativity can go of the scale, I wouldn't mind betting Banksy is neuro diverse.
Back on topic.....as going off track can be a trait of ADHD, Many footballers are not academics.

Definitely dodgy ground diagnosing from a sofa, but I don't mean any ill by it. Just an observation.
It kind of comes with the territory that most of the greatest in whatever field you choose to pick are neurodivergent to some degree at least. The likes of Mozart and Beethoven were definitely not wired like your average Joe.
Anyway, back to Pickford, it would at least explain a lot of his on-pitch behaviour if it were the case that he has ADHD.
It's a personal thing of course, but if high profile achievers with ADHD were to make it known, it would be a massive positive.

This is not aimed at Picks specifically, but I find all the pen shenanigans incredibly tedious. Once the keeper starts walking towards the spot or pisses about with a water bottle I'd like to see the ref just blow up and award a goal straight away.
Then again I love it when Bart or Jason do it for us. Weird eh.
Do people with little arms feel a positive because Pickford also suffers from this?
