Under contract for another 3 years, so unless there is a buy out clause at a reasonable figure, you'd think Celtic would demand a high price. I don't think the club will pay a high fee, unless our new coach really wants him.

If we've become averse to spending money on first team ready players (as reported), then I just can't see us spending upwards of £40m on either KDH or Matt O'Riley.

It may be the case that Leicester need to sell before 30 June for PSR purposes, but unless that happens we ain't getting these types of players. The resale value becomes so much smaller at £40m-50m than someone at £10m-20m.

I spent £10 on him to play with Brighton next season when the odds were 51.00. He is the only potential first team signing from the Scottish league and is overall a thrilling player. Would love to see him with us but may well end up with Southampton.

As we’ve seen with the KDH and Archie Gray transfers, who starts the process will not necessarily be the club who acquires the player. If Southampton bid £20m I’m sure we can gazump them if we want.

Are Soton really in for O'Riley? Taylor Harwood Bellis excepted, they have been penny pinching on the transfer market.

If he is good enough, surely we’d dive in and take him first? We’re just about to get a massive Groß sized whole in the team!

Personally, I think Rutter has more potential and we’ll go back to Leeds and force them to put out.

Good player. He would do well for us.
But if we agree a deal with the player and club and book a medical, it’s a green light for Chelsea.

The Todd saw him score against Chelsea in his home country. That’s all the evidence the American will need in order to instruct his recruitment team to grab him. It matters not squad size or similar players.

Chelsea looking for a Gallagher replacement?
why are they so keen to get rid of Chalobah and Gallagher?
Local boys and two of their better players.
