Switzerland are a bang average team, no different to what they've produced over the last 30 years. It's just that we are seeing an overall decline in the standard in my opinion. All much of a muchness.

Southgate has actually personally won 3 shoot outs - Colombia in World Cup18, Switzerland in Nations League19 and Switzerland in Euro24.

Southgate isn’t the best but he is what we’ve got and England are much stronger mentally than I ever known. That is down to him and his team, let’s just show them some love now we’re so close. They deserve it.
