Seems the "Star" of Channel 4s hit piece was an actor. So no doubt Farage lawsuits will start flying.

My mate did it for a while and is on IMDB so I guess. He was on some true crime recreation thing and did a short film with Brian Cox. But the idea that someone who plays "Man on phone" or "Visitor" was hired to portray a racist is amusing to me. He ain't De NiroI know several supporting artists who would absolutely bristle at this comment

Yeah, the story is clearly bollocks. Your comment just made me laugh. To the average punter an actor’s “success” is judged by their visibility (television, movies) rather than the frequency of their work. Both of my friends who work as extras are regularly in professional stage productions, do voice-over ads, “additional voices” overdubbing for group scenes in sound mixes etc

My mate took it up in his late 50s and sadly died just before he was due to retire. His silent work on the crime thing made me smile it was so hammy. And I'll have to track down the one film he is listed in to see what his actual acting was like. More power to his elbow but his trailer reel I saw - Olivier is safe.

12 years ago now. He was planning to retire to New Zealand and was got by the Big C. His boy Ashley used to play and had a squaring up with Cullip at Withdean. But the one thing Mike was is an IT technician - not an actor! Although he is on IMDB and despite being in the credits of 5 films for producing video footage, I am not.
