Imagine if they removed the travel area and everyone had to buy train tickets and southern kept the barriers closed at Falmer and everyone had to scan in/out - that would be awful 😂

But then those that don't use public transport wouldn't have to pay the "travel tax" and those travelling by train could reclaim the cost of tickets through "Delay Repay".

One thing that is definitely delayed is the results of this review. I think it was first announced in Spring last year, the FAB were consulted at a special meeting devoted to it in October 2023 and then, afaik, - nothing.

Yes that’s where the shared foot/cycle path ends.

There are some nice walking options - it’s around a 30 min walk from the car park at Castle Hill (35 mins back 🤣). Car park isn’t that large though and if it’s a Sat/Sun afternoon game it will be largely full with walker‘s cars anyway but you can also park on Bexhill Road or in some of the unit car parks on the industrial estate. Lewes town centre is around 70 mins walk (cycle/foot path along the 27), Ditchling Beacon car park is around an hour (nicer route of course) and Jack and Jill car park around 90 mins.
