Got my first look at Zesh yesterday, and I thought he looked absolutely top notch. He had a great first half - didn't see quite as much of him in the 2nd, but you can see he is quality on the ball, and is comfortable using his left or right foot. Gets his foot in, chugs up and down the pitch helping in defence and supporting the attack, rarely wastes a pass and always seems to be in space, making himself available to receive the ball.

There was one moment in the 1st which almost brought tears of joy to my eyes. Butters had the ball in defence and looked like he was shaping to lump it, until Reham ran back 40 yards to take a short pass off him, turned, moved forward and played it straight in to Leons feet. The move eventually broke down, but it was such a beautiful moment, I got quite emotional. Rehman is EXACTLY the kind of player we have been crying out for this season in the middle of the park.

Please, please, please can we keep him.

...you could be looking at a future England international (possibly the first asian to play for us?) the best we can hope for is a seasons loan.

Even if we could retain the fella's services for the rest of the season, that'd be one hell of a result. OK, he's made one appeaance for Fulham in the Lager Cup, but it'll be back to the ressies for most of the season there probably.

Give him a season in the heat of a D2 scrap for the Championship, it'll do him (and us) a power of good. Hard to blood a 19 year old youngster in the Prem - let him get some week-to-week 1st team action down here instead.

Come on Coleman, you KNOW it makes sense....

BUt why not have a bash at signing him - just to steal a march on anyone else? (No harm done is there?)

None of us thought Sidwell would ever move away from Arsenal when Reading stuck in their offer, but look what it got them...

(Cue offer from Reading...)
