A surprisingly very good performance from Zeqiri at left wing back. He’s definitely earned a start in that position next week.

Game changed when Burn was taken off. Love the guy but he so obviously gets targeted. With the change in shape we nullified and looked much more balanced.

Potter said it was a hamstring twinge.

Burn off meant Veltman and White where moved to a more comfortable position.

Gross and White are plenty good enough together.
I'll Eden a guess I could look adequate if I knew Veltman just defending, behind me.

Should be starting at LWB in a defensive 3 for the rest of the season

Burn shouldn’t start again.
It’s too much of an advantage to the opposition.
Zequiri looked decent today at lwb
Not sure what that says about Karbo though

Karbo is right footed and prefers to play RWB, so put him there and keep Swiss Andi at LWB. Simples - though we all know it's not what Potter will do!

I like this

Veltman, Dunk and White in the back 3.

Karbo and Zeqiri full backs.

Burn remains a very solid player to bring on

Probably a lot to do with him being a just-turned 20 year old who is new to the team, country, language and level of the Premier League. It'd be a hell of a risk to throw him into a huge match like this before he's properly settled and confident in his role.

Also, I just noticed that he turned 20 yesterday. Probably on the lash last night.
