I saw that Brett Ormerod was instrumental in one of the goals that sank Pompey last night and he seems to have adapted to Premier football quite well. I know that Bobby has not really been given a chance at Spurs but I wonder if anybody has an opinion has to who was the better player at this level. Ormerod scored goals in what was an inferior team to our.

Ormerod cost Saints £200,000 than Bobby cost SPurs but it was in a different financial climate. Bobby was being valued at £3 Million at the time.

omerod didnt exactly set soton alight when he first arrived and has taken time to settle in .. i think BZ is going through the same thing..given the same time frame i believe Bz to be the better buy

Sorry I thought you meant Mark Ormerod :dunce:

Omerod plays his heart out for the shirt, but just can't cut it as a striker at Prem League level. Bobby is yet unproven at that level so too early to stay. Considering BZ scored more than Omerod at the same level, you'd expect him to do better.

I think Nathan Ellington (now Wigan) may turn to be a player as good as Bobby Z.

I agree whole heartedly with the above statement.
The duke will probably be the best of the three.
What about Lua Lua though?
