This is becoming a little surreal.

Just passed a presidential style cavalcade heading towards Lancing. Flashing lights, police outriders, the full monty. Might be nothing.

Bozza says no
Talksport Moose says no
Andy Naylor says no
On this one, unless they have the source of a talkative Bloom, Barber, Hughton, Winstanley, or possibly Calderwood, or the person who deals with contract legalities, then they must have heard it from the Zamora camp.

Can't say I'm massively disappointed. I saw him as a morale-boosting bonus signing, rather than one to launch our season. Get me a younger, more prolific striker & I'll be happy enough.

Or the medical staff?

Yes, possibly, but I would only expect the top medic to be involved at this stage.

The medics are of course bound by patient confidentiality, and professional ethics.

The point is there is a very limited source pool on this one.

Brighton - In your face
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPagnhPTbeg

I wanna tell you
I've always wanted to tell you
But I never had the chance to say
What I feel in my heart from the beginning
'Til my time today

I was fifteen, sixteen maybe
In the park, I was waving my arms
You [Incomprehensible] and sweared
You sang the song that I was screamin'
I wanted you to

Another time was in South Carolina
It's always been the third encore
Whose wind came blowing in
Can you tell me who were you singin' for?
Oh my God, can you tell me who you were singin' to?

A phone call from your New York City office
You were supposedly asking to see me
But how I want to tell you
That I was just only four hundred miles away

Who could believe that you were calling
I was in DC, I was four hundred miles behind
Backstage pass in my hand
Givin' you my heart was my plan
I wish I could tell you

My chance
In the middle of the stadium in Paris, France
Can I finally tell you?
Can I finally tell you to be my man?

Now that Hemed is on board I don't think Zamora is the type of forward player we will be looking for particularly since COG is still here. I also think that it nice for the club that the attention is focussed here whilst they speak to the real targets.

And this.

The only thing that matters is the club ending up with a strong, cohesive squad that is ready for the start of the new season. If they are laying a few false trails to get their men (literally no one saw Hemed or Rosenior coming) then so be it, it's all a bit of fun on here.

I have a naggingly annoying feeling that Naylor's source may well be Zamora himself or his agent since he is being so cocky about it. Perhaps they stayed in touch after he left? The guy who told me he'd definitely signed has gone horribly quiet too.

Is there actually any fact behind this or is it just the annual lets sign Bobby thread we get every Summer, except he is a free agent this time?
