The evidence that he is overrated BY US is mounting by the week. I'll be one of the first to admit I thought he was at the very least a top Championship player based on his Brighton feats - but even if you make excuses for him at Spurs, which I did, there are none at West Ham. When he has played, he's been very poor.

to be fair when does he play? hardly ever! and hes had maybe two bad starts but he is a quality player. no doubting that

He's quality - probably all the hype surrounding him has made him look overrated, or the hype that did surround him.

I still love him.

Quality still in my book, its so much harder to cut the mustard up front rather than say as a midfielder of defender, so much more is expected and when it dosent happen the inevitable abuse follows.

Confidence is missing thats all in my opinion.

He's a confidence player - like most strikers.

He's not a regular and the Hammers fans are quick to moan at him.

I think he needs to take a step back to move forward.
