West Ham won’t accept £100m for Declan Rice, he’ll sign for Manure or Chelsea for more than that.
No he won't. He's not thay good, and th bubble is slowly deflating, if not quite bursting as yet. If they hold out for £100M they basically just won't get it; sign him up to a longer comtract (maybe a bit less - but not much than he's on) and see him go on a free. THAT ma Ynot be quite the golden rainbow his agent is dreaming of either)

Identical roles really, Rice is 2.5 years younger.
But not as good.

I reckon Bissouma’s fee will comfortably exceed White’s.
Probably not. We've broken into the biggish fee market now with White. Less outside pressure (Leeds) on Bissouma, so £40 or £50M could be enough.

Opposition fans begging him to join their clubs in the posts underneath :lolol:

Means F all to football's money hierarchy,. New contract (£3M a year) to stay here - on that level he might tell his agent to stuff it.

If he signs a new contract, then it should exceed Whites. But if he doesnt, there is no chance.

Re his injury, I can't see that it is anything other than a minor strain as surely we wouldn't have let him continue to play if it was. The really annoying point would be if it ruled him out of the Palace game. Knowing our luck v Palace it probably will.

Nailed on, tbh. The palace pact with the devil paying off, yet again.

Very often in the EPL new contracts are signed with a big pay rise, but with a release clause in case a mega club like Liverpool or Leeds come in for the player.

Giving a greater transfer fee to the selling club.

Looks like Biss has bigger aspirations than joining Arsenal these days.

Nice comments from Rodgers about the player.

Anyone else see him neck that can of spinach before slotting the pen in?

Can I just add another compliment to Bissouma, which may or may not already have been said.

His disciplinary record is terrific. Considering the number of tackles he puts in, he doesn't get many yellows. He gets wound up by opponents as he's our best player, but he hardly ever strikes out. If he does find himself wrongside, he still fancies himself to get the tackle in so doesn't foul too often.

Obv there are are always going to be some bookings, he is a defensive mid, but much less than some others in his position.
