Worthing
To be fair to him, the Welbeck v Sels head-to-head was a draw. Any criticism he gets for letting the free kick go in on 'his' side, he takes equal credit, for this excellent bit of keeping at the start of the second half.

Excellent keeping or poor finishing?

Out quick, but can’t help but think Welbeck could have lifted it a little more, Seles was very committed.

Split second stuff to be fair.

No, I think the fourth official had a better view of it, and told the ref he needed to book Gibbs.
I wonder if part of the issue was that the officials now all communicate by headset so rather than going over and be seen to be talking to the 4th official / Lino, he went from signaling that the player got the ball to showing a 2nd yellow and it wasn't obvious to anyone (player involved & their manager especially) why he changed his mind.

You wouldn't have people in the crowd also thinking that it was VAR that intervened. Probably another good example of why decisions should be explained to the crowd, etc like they do in Rugby / NFL..... which would help counter the assumption among some that VAR is to blame / corrupt, etc when they shouldn't have been involved as it wasn't a red card offense (they should only be able to give reds or nothing, no yellows however that too doesn't always appear to be the case)

Fingers crossed he's crocked. Forest could well be one of our direct rivals this season.
Don't think they will.

But he's dished it out and now it seems he has to take it. I don't wish it on him, but I don't shed a tear either
