What a stupid thread. I think sadly it is time to let Slade and the backroom staff go but you, and other idiots on here in fairness, seem to take pleasure in it. Whether he goes or not, he did a fantastic job last season and seems a really decent bloke so there is absolutely no need to be so pleased if he does go.

To be fair, Grimsby never wanted Slade from day one, so I understand his glee in RS's troubles.

I didn't want RS as manager in the first place and I got slated at the end of last season when we survived but now the chickens have come home to roost as I predicted after his 1st game in charge.

I couldn't care less whether he wanted him in the first place or not. His glee is pathetic. If I didn't want a manager to come in, I would still be frustrated it didn't work out and certainly would not be so open about my glee when we have lost and dropped into the bottom four.

Hardly relevant. Still support him when he is appointed whatever choice he is. He did a really good job last season. He also seems a really decent bloke (as compared to someone like Dennis Wise) and I will be really gutted if he goes today, although we do need to do something. Being smug if he gets sacked is totally uncalled for.

thing is, you sack him and who takes over in the short term? same people who have been there for Slade and Adams time before. surely the awnser is to clear out the back room, at least instead of, if not along with, Slade.

im so glad didnt do the 8 hour round trip today ....time for a clear out slade,white and booker there is something wrong at our football club at the moment the squad of players we have should be better than this !!! who else is to blame !!!!
