That's one of those films that I've always been meaning to watch, but never get round to it.

Edit: I just remembered that Leonardo Di Caprio and Matt Damon are different people.

Good spot! I admit, I feel pretty embarrassed as I forgot Marky Mark was in The Basketball Diaries. not seen it in years!
But yeah, I guess he's up there, although he's made a few real clangers.

100% genuine coincidence that he's in all 3 films though!

Fargo is magnificent, I never tire of it. It stands up to repeated viewing because the dialogue and the performances are just stupendous. Very dark humour against a beautifully bleak backdrop. Get round to it chap, you won't regret it.

Half-way through 'Camp X-Ray' at the moment which is ok.
Next on the list is 'True Story', then I'll fit Fargo in at some point.

Have you read the original book; The Beach?

No, but I've been told the book is a lot better. I have read Trainspotting in Glasgow dialect. Nightmare to read.

Night of the Hunter (Laughton version, of course)

Good choice for Night of the Hunter. One of those films in which you'd travel back in time to see, and then start a campaign for it be lauded and not poorly thought of, preventing Laughton from directing again.
