Yes i agree with you to a certain point but ...B....Rooney aint the worst striker......top scorer in the Premiership.......the other english strikers were just as off form as he on the day, should have put Crouch on instead of Heskey tho'

Wright-Phillips or Lennon should have been bought on earlier. It was clear the German deffence couldnt handle anyone running at them, especially the fullbacks, so what would would they do if a pacey player who could control the ball came on?

Pretty sure. I know that stat was mentioned last year, he might have got one in a game since then, so it may be slightly outdated. But until recently I believe that is true.

Just had a look over soccerbase, can't find two of his goals, but I'd like to amend that stat. He's never scored coming off the bench in a competitive game.
