i'll put a vote in for gary hart just because he was booted out the club only then to be brought back to the club then to get a serious injury get over that and now is one of the main reasons behind our new vein of form

Although Hart has done a great job, playing superbly in 6 games does not compare to playing well over 46 games.

Whing for Player of the Season.

Forster. I'd make a case that anyone voting for Whing has the memory of a goldfish. At least the people who vote for Hart realise it's been a shit season and Hart has come in and saved us at the very end, a sort of protest vote. Whing was very average for most of the season and it's only in recent months that he has stood out as being better than most of the team, though not through a huge amount of quality rather than a better attitude. For the first time since I've been supporting Albion I really can't see any candidates that I really feel belong in our list of Players of the season, but at least Forster is a cut above the rest of our squad in terms of quality, whilst also pretty much playing as a one man team at times. If he hadn't been injured I think more people would vote for him, but I think he's played enough to get my vote.

:clap2: Spot on. I love Gary Hart and I wished he'd been playing all season, but he hasn't, Whing has. Job done!

I really cannot understand where it's come from for Whing to get player of the season. He's had about 4 really good games, but everyone's seemed to jump on the bandwagon of how fantastic he's been and is now blatently going to get POTS! I know people will say it's his passion, but he's not the only one thats showed that. And to end this rant, the final straw was his ridiculous booking he got for the throwing the ball away in a tantrum, knowing we've got three extrmemely crucial games coming up and would miss one of them.

voted Whing because he is the only player to have held onto a position across the entire season.

Got to be Forster over the whole season. He has scored goals in a shit team with a different midfield every game setting up or not setting up his goals. His attitude and passion is every bit great as Whing's.

Andy Whing has looked good in the last few games but he hasn't been great all season, he was decidedly average at the beginning of the season and if I remember right actually got dropped for a couple of matches.

If there were a prize for player of the last 5 games then Gary Hart would win easily, but the vote is not for 5 games it's for the whole season.

Forster gets my vote.

I'm sure I heard last season, when it was a two-horse race between him and Elphick, that he has never won player of the season in his career! Not sure if that is true, but if it is I think he deserves one now.

He has been the only real mainstay in our attack, and despite his injuries, has scored a decent tally of goals for the season. When you couple that with the fact his partner in crime (Murray) has been out for most of this year as well, I think he has done pretty well in a shit team.
