I'll go for Hound Dog as performed on The Milton Berle Show in 1956.

A combination of a simple blues/rock and roll song with gyrating pelvic moves that riled American moral sensitivities, with critics consequently accusing him of being a "influence on juvenile delinquency".

From that moment on, success was inevitable. Genius.
