Isley Brothers - Summer Breeze

Surely the Isley Brothers by definition are incapable of doing anything cheesy.

One song I always repeat on the i-pod and which i can't help thinking I should not like is "No Regrets" by the Walker Brothers. I don't do power ballads, but great song and brilliantly sung.

(Just tried to post a youtube link - hope it works.

Sorry, can't be having the God-like genius Scott Walker being labelled as cheesy. The Isley Brothers was close, but this is right over the line my friend.

I am strangely reassured that my taste is not as naff as I thought it might be. It really is a superb song.

And I should point out that I was defending the Isley brothers AGAINST accusations of cheesiness.

Sorry DiS - did mean to agree with your Isley Bros comments before got over-defensive of Scott.

For my part, my guilty pleasures include "See the Day" by DC Lee (may have something to do with her being beautiful though...) and "Love Plus One" by Haircut 100..."where does it go fom here? Is it down to the lake I fear?...." immortal Cheesy genius...
