I liked that one where MCFAUL came on for the last 39 seconds, and in that time he let the ball roll under his foot and go out for a THROW-IN to the oppo.

What an Albion career he had. Class.

Surely it was Wilkins' decision to bring on Doug Loft when we were 1-0 down at Cheltenham and in danger of CRASHING out of the FA Cup in the first round?

Loft promptly saved our BACON, and kept us in the competition, and the rest is history......

It may not be quite clear from the above but Eric Potts was brought on at 90 mins and scored twice in injury time. Nothing tops that!

When I saw the title of this thread I was going to vote for this and saw that several other intelligent people had already done so. There is NO POINT in continuing with this thread now; mods, please close it.

what has been your FAVOURITE?

I love a good TRIPLE substitution I do, but I cant remember many in recent times.

There must be some BEAUTS knocking in about in Albion History?

Didn't McGhee do a triple substitution against Milwall at home ?

Technically not a substitution, but nearly was...

Don't remember the game, but it was around 2001/2 and Adams had used all of his subs, we were well on top and about 10 mins to go... Crosby had just made a mistake and Adams was furious...

Anyway, about a minute later up went the board with just the number 6 on it... first we all thought "6 mins injury time, thats a lot", then "that board has gone up early", then saw Adams gesticulating at Crosby to get off the pitch... yes, he was seriously considering taking him off and not replacing him!

Finally common sense prevailed and Crosby continued, but I have to say it is probably one of the funniest things I have ever seen at Withdean!
