Forest 1-0. Welly scored after 6 minutes, spent the next 84 watching the clock. Atrocious Pitch and Conditions.

Liverpool 2-1 in the Cup, and went to see John Peel in Manchester the same evening just to rub it in, he still played a request for us the next day, goes without saying top bloke.

Liverpool again 1-0, Welly again I think.

But every away win gives you a fantastic feeling, especially nowadays when the crowd atmosphere tends to be so good, better than I remember it.

I think it was Andy Ritchie (departs wearing anorak with gloves sewn into the sleeves on a string)

Late winners are always a bit special and
Eric Potts effort at Ewood Park in a great and very open game in April 77/78 makes that a personal favourite.

For the same reason Bradford this season
is also up there

Bradford was good but up to that point when we got the winner, I was annoyed that we'd let a two goal lead slip.
