What do you think would have happened if he had stayed? After all that has happened lately, it wouldn’t be a fairytale ‘live happily ever after’ story. Bloom really had no option than to part company.
Fans may not necessarily be pleased he is gone, but given the circumstances and taking into account the long term wellbeing of the club, (and no one does that more than Bloom) an awful lot of ‘idiots’ will be relieved.
I think he would have been backed, players back from injury, and we would have had a strong start. If he shored up defence, we would be exceptional again.
It is done now, only history will tell if it is the right decision.
