Not seen it mentioned thus far, but the Killers first album was pretty special

very good shout indeed.

Last year's top 3 for me:

The XX - XX - 0/10 for imaginitive title but 10/10 for content
Plan B - The Defamation of Strickland Banks - this bloke is a genius
Biffy Clyro -Only Revolutions - if you liked the Killers you'll love this....

Absolution was the pinnacle of their career. That was epic as they could make music without it going wanky. They went more epic, which means it went WANKY.
