I highly encourage you to return. It's free-flowing, passing, sexy 'total football' nowadays, as the threads on NSC will testify.

Completely different from what came before.
:mexican: :mexican:

Yeh, gonna take my brand new drive to- when are we playing again?:lolol:

Wherever The Mood Takes Me
Must admit I'm really surprised so many people have put Zamora in their all time teams. He probably gets in my "Best ever Withdean Team" but I wouldn't have him anywhere near the team when you think about all the great players that played for us at The Goldstone.

Hurst Green
Peter Grummit - best goalkeeper weve ever had
Gary Stevens - Great Player -Great replacement for Foster in central defence if he gets injured too
Steve Foster - Headbanded collossus
Mark Lawrenson - class
Steve Gatting - So consistent, hardly ever had a bad game and his play was so cool and unflustered

Jimmy Case - Brilliant tackler, passer, scorer, battler, free kick taker, god what a player
Danny Wilson - A brilliant trier and every team should have one
Brian Horton - Nuff said
Tony Towner - Sad some of the younger fans didnt see him play cos at his best he was phenomenal, super fast in a lua lua way and brilliant at taking on players, best winger

Peter Ward - Nuff said
Bobby Zamora - Nuff said

Subs
Paul Watson - not the fastest i know but we miss his delivery and Zammo would benefit from him being in the squad
Paul Brooker - Not consistent, couldnt tackle to save his life and a bit light but I loved his skill and maizy runs. At his best he was class. Good crosser too.
Paul Clark - The Tank, built like a brick outhouse and solid as a rock
Danny Cullip - Nuff said
Corrigan - Really good goalkeeper
Frank Worthington - If only to show his skills at controlling the ball before the game starts and entertain the crowd before kick-off like he used to do - utter class
Johnny Byrne - Great Striker real trier

Agree almost. Team yes but subs, Corrigan, Worthington, Gregory, Mellor (just to partner Wardy), Potts (so he can score the vital goals at the end), Grealish

Really surprised you only put Lawrenson as a sub. He was easily the most talented player at Brighton in the last 35 years. And probably one of the best defenders in the World in his time.

Since Micky Adams yes because we have been so f***ing SHIT CREAK

Adrie - A lot of people on here such as C.Christ, Chappers, Mendoza and Ali Jenkins know that you and me have a special friendship and bond - But this fair-weathered comment is putting our relationship in JEOPARDY.

You don't just STOP going cos a team is shit?! If it was due to money or work that's fine or even withdean being so shit - but to not go cos you don't think the team is good?! I don't know if i can pick you up any more for games-sorry to be so public but i'm upset...
