Taking Steele out, that comes down to 19.45 (and even younge after the substitutions, I think). Pity we can't play that team in the EFL Trophy!

Edit: looking up the ages, we almost could play that team in the EFL Trophy - McGill for Steele, obviously, and find alternatives for Mwepu, Moder and Alzate. Still could be a good team ...............
It really would be a feather in the Albion's cap if we could become the first PL2 side to really make an impact in the EFL Trophy.

Club match report says 20.5 was for the 10 outfield players so Steele at 31 would make 21.5 overall?
That’s before subs aged 16 17 & 18 came on so likely to still be a record ⚽⚽️

I seem to remember back in the Goldstone days, we had a 0-0 vs Exeter (i think), but it felt like a win as the team was really young due to loads of absentees. Not sure if a record though.
