The junior seagull groups are the biggest single group at falmer 10,000 members possibly so why dont they have a facility to meet at the amex? Are they not the future? Other clubs put us to shame in this respect!

You want 10,000 youths to meet at the Amex? You insane. It'll be anarchy and what about those poor disabled people trying to get to their parking spaces, they'll be mobbed and their cars overturned. Cars set alight, windows smashed, the club shop looted, rotten eggs thrown at fellow fans, mooning at the passing trains. Actually it sounds quite fun, where do you want to meet then Rev?

New day, new moan. I'm sure some of you spend your day thinking up a new subject to whinge about!

Not quite have been dreaming of a new ground for 30 odd years! I have been to many others so i was hoping we would build a ground that catered for all!(falmer for all)
We have done a great job building up the junior seagulls groups who numbered only 500 in the eighties to well over 10k now!
So why no place for them to meet, play pool, watch a game on the big screen, even a small indoor footi area to play other visiting fans pre match?
We have catered for the stuff your face with pies and beer brigade but forgot about our future,i understand the fanatastic job bloom,Knight and the stadium team have done, but is it a sin to want the best for the best fans!

Disagree with the OP, the stadium does cater for all. It is a football ground not a social club, you go there to watch the Albion play. I really think these relentless DEMANDS for this that and the other are really missing the whole point of the AMEX. It's about the team kicking off at 3pm or 7.45 and going out there to get three points or through to the next round. We will be able to witness these battles for glory in surroundings that are far superior to anything we have had before, can we not be just thankful for that. Our football experience is going to improve 1000per cent, yet for all the moaning on here you'd think we we all being shafted by the club.

I'll keep my post on the subect of beer, pies and who's gonna bring the biggest firm to falmer in future:moo:Not alot of feeling about about other groups of albion fans on nsc! I thought it was a very valid thread but it does not affect the self interest groups on nsc! If it was for a bar serving real ale with only a 250 limit i'm sure it would be bubbling! How very sad:moo:

What a load of rubbish. What fans are being excluded from the stadium. All ARE welcome and when they arrive will find facilities that will match or indeed better those at most other grounds in the country. What do you want a playground and creche?

The primary function of the Amex is to be a stadium for Brighton and Hove Albion FC. It also serves the community by hosting and promoting the good work of the AITC aswell as providing facilities to the universities and local businesses, is that COMMUNITY enough for you.

I'm sure once the club has settled in to the stadium one of the vast lounges can be used for junior seagulls events.
The club must be aware that the kids are the future of the club & will be doing everything they can to get bums in seats & cash in tills. Its all going to take a bit of time though. Perhaps there are provisions in place for the concourse area for the upper east stand?
On a side note i've noticed the club are running free training sessions for kids all over the county during the summer holidays, Another excuse for my nephew to wear his shirt! :ascarf:

And what about NSC users? The Club have RUINED Saturday afternoons for THOUSANDS.

Instead of spending 90 minutes posting on ***The Official NSC I'm Not at the Game*** thread, they'll all be at a football match.

I blame Micky Adams.

Are these session free? never were, there are no plans to accommodate the young seagulls groups, they have had 14 years to think about it tbo!
Lets hope they have got plans but the supporters bar would not have happened without pressure:moo:

What about the people who have to travel from far away for games, the club have excluded them by not buolding a hotel there for them. It is meant to be a stadium for EVERYONE but Bloom is clearly only worried about the fans who live locally. Shambles of a club!

And while Im at it, what about all those people who have to do the shopping on a Saturday, why isnt there a TESCO onsite? ANOTHER oversight by the club!

Its almost like they have built a Football stadium and not thought about the fans!
