...the club is offering off-site hospitality for the Liverpool game at £280 a pop. Lunch at the Proud Country House in Stanmer Park:

Prosecco on arrival

Matchday programme

Three-course meal

Optional shuttle service to near-site stadium drop-off point

Premium stadium seating for the match

Half-time hot drink and food voucher

Post-match West Stand lounge access

Parking at Stanmer House

I note there’s no mention of a shuttle bus back to Stanmer Park after the game

Half-time food voucher - please tell me it’s for a pie.

I nearly started this thread when I saw that email last night.

Related: I was lucky enough to enjoy the hospitality at the Goldstone Restaurant in the East Stand for the West Ham game, and it was fantastic. We didn't pay - as someone won it - but I believe it also costs c£200, depending on game category, and included a three-course meal and unlimited bar from 17:30 - 23:00 (I think) and it was a fantastic experience. It was great to the point of me thinking "I didn't expect the club were capable of being this good!"

Not an every match experience for most of us, I'm sure, but I'd not hesitate on spending the going rate for special occasions.

If people are prepared to pay that, then why not? Law of averages says that we won’t be a PL team forever. Make hay while the sun shines.
