Scenario:

Brighton have been given a free kick (FK) inside their own half, just outside the penalty area. Greer takes the FK, passing it back to Casper. But disaster strikes when the ball hits a bobble, bounces over his foot and goes directly in from the FK without touching anyone.

What is your decision?

We have a winner!

The reason being you CAN'T score an OG from your own dead ball situation be it a Direct FK, Corner or Penalty.

OMG We should actually do this on purpose one match and then watch the opposition players supporters and manager go mental when they realise a goal hasn't been awarded.

The ref doesn't have to blow his whistle for play to resume.

The whistle is NOT needed to:
• stop play for:
– a goal kick, corner kick or throw-in
– a goal
• restart play from:
– a free kick, goal kick, corner kick, throw-in

Anyway here is another:

It's a GK, and Casper goes to take it short to Painter, who realising the opposition striker is waiting to pounce on the ball. Runs and picks up the ball inside the area.
What do you give? And are any cards necessary?

I'd guess the GK needs to be retaken as it has to leave the penalty area. Maybe a yellow card for unsporting behaviour for Painter?

if Painter touches the ball, it's a backpass and pen should be awarded?

Edit:Apologies I thought Casper picked the ball up and you didn't say whether the ball left the box- be more specific!

Ok! Trying to be more difficult !
From the first KO Murray who is the only player to have touched the ball shoots directly at goal and the ball goes straight in.
Goal? Or re -take?
